Your Name and Number at the Roadside
Post and panel signs in Aiken work hard for a simple build: posts in the ground, your panel between them, your business readable from the road. They fit shops and service businesses set back from traffic, lots with long frontage, and anyone who needs drivers to know they have arrived. We design them, build them and set them for you.
For Givens Auto Service Center we made a roadside post and panel sign and a matching building sign.
“Very happy with my roadside business sign.”

A Panel Built Around What Drivers Need
Someone passing at road speed gets a few seconds, so the panel has to carry the right things: your name, what you do and your number. We lay it out with your logo and keep it easy to read.
- Roadside business signs that mark your entrance.
- Directional signs that guide customers straight to your door.
- Matching sets that tie the road sign to the custom sign on your building.
Want more presence at the entrance? A monument sign is the bigger step up. Need something up for a short stretch while the permanent sign is being made? A banner can hold the spot. And when your number or your services change later, the panel can change with them.
Up and Reading From the Road in Four Steps
- We pick the spot with you. We come out, measure and look at where drivers will see the sign first.
- You approve the panel. We send a proof for you to review, and we make changes before production.
- We sort the paperwork. The permit forms are on us for most exterior jobs, and so is the follow-up.
- We set it. Our sign installation crew sets the posts, mounts the panel and checks that it sits level.
A Straight Quote for a Simple Sign
The size of the panel, the materials and artwork, and the ground the posts go into all shape your price. Adding a matching building sign changes the scope too. Your quote is free and carries no obligation, and we are glad to price a single sign. To see how sign budgets break down, read the sign cost guide.
At Home on Aiken County Roads
Roadside signs have to stand up to the open air and follow the local lines. Aiken’s summers bring heat and afternoon storms, and we use commercial-grade materials meant for that.
Aiken’s city code generally allows one freestanding sign per lot and keeps it out of the right-of-way. In the Downtown Business zone the rule is one freestanding sign per street frontage, and pole signs need decorative supports. Out in unincorporated Aiken County, each sign type is marked in a table as needing a permit, needing no prior permit or not allowed.
Your address decides which office you confirm with: the City of Aiken planning office or Aiken County Planning and Development. A permit or review may be required, and we handle the paperwork on most exterior jobs. We serve roadside businesses in Aiken, out US 1 in Graniteville, in Warrenville and along Highway 19 in New Ellenton.
